Nineteen at The Star

We came here as a group and all absolutely loved our food! My steak was cooked perfectly and sides were great. All drinks came out timely and the cocktails were delicious. I also appreciated the service, from booking to the servers who looked after us and the guys at the bar who were all very patient on a busy night. Only con would be the excessive COVID sign-in (3!!) and sign-out processes when we're a bit past that phase. One sign-in would have been sufficient. Will definitely return and would recommend it to anyone looking for nice views and good food.

Today we had the pleasure to be looked after by Sarah on your breakfast service. She was such a lovely lady to be looked after by. Amazing personality and fabulous customer service on her behalf. The food was amazing too. Great variety and flavours. Those pastry biscuits were amazing, they were so buttery they melted in your mouth. ❤❤. We are locals so we will definitely be back. Thank you, Sarah and the rest of the staff at Nineteen for a fabulous Sunday breakfast.

Beautiful views, drinks and food. I really liked the atmosphere. I will have to say we were a little disappointed when we kicked off a table by the pool because a group that had reserved it arrived THREE hours early, I understand that is a bit of a difficult situation but that is very early. The waitress's uniforms are bizarre as well, bright pink silk dresses that look like a night gowns while the waiters are in nice suits, I really feel for them having to wear it.

A restaurant of this calibre should not have such loud and inappropriate music, you should be able to have a conversation with mellow background low key music and up the service please, taking away plates when another person is still eating on the table. Teach your waiters what the difference is regarding what cutlery on a finished plate looks like, otherwise food was excellent.Hopefully this review will be taken as a means to improve.
