Hurricane's Grill & Bar Surfers Paradise

Waited for 40 minutes for just a table for 2, I can see plenty of tables empty so not sure what’s the hold up. Luckily the food came out in reasonable time. The food was quite good, could’ve served better quality chips with that high price tag honestly. I thought it was just unlucky that our table got old chips that taste like they were cooked at least twice, but then I saw other tables has the same looking chips. It was dry and overcook :( Fortunately the staff was great, good customer service and very friendly. I saw them singing for few tables for birthday which is really nice. Overall not too bad but could have been better.

We went here for dinner on Friday night and had a 6pm booking but couldn't get there until 7pm, I called and they changed the time with no hassles. When we arrived, our waitress was so helpful and patient, nothing was to hard for her. The steak, although expensive was to die for, cooked exactly how we ordered it! Will definitely be back soon!!!

After a previous visit, I was excited to dine at Hurricane's again. The good: The food was amazing! Generous serving sizes. The bad: Was quite disappointed due to the poor service. Some examples are missing drink orders and being ignored by the wait staff. Disappointed to spend over $130 on dinner to have such poor service.

Not what it was. We have been coming to Hurricanes for over 15 years, both here and in Sydney. Sadly, this will be our last time. While the rib sauce recipe is the same, the intensity of flavour is gone. The flavour and char used to hit you in the face, now you have to search for it in the ribs, certainly here on the GC. It has slipped a long way. Maybe it's better elsewhere within the franchise, but it doesn't matter. In the US, they take enormous pride in the consistency of the flavour profile of their ribs, almost like a religion. It doesn't change, not even over decades, nor generations. That being said, the venue and staff are excellent. Thanks to them. And great views. If you are coming here for great ribs and know great ribs, then maybe not so much.

Good service, great atmosphere. Food was fantastic. Loved it.
