The Earl of Spencer Historic Inn - Bar & Restaurant

What a great experience, The Earl of Spencer put on a awesome evening. The atmosphere was fantastic, the crowd were friendly and inviting.nThe bar staff were prompt and had a great knowledge of the stock on hand.nThe menu was on a double sided page and contained a great variety of foods, very reminiscent to the pubs in the UK.nI ordered the Scotch Fillet with mushrooms, salad and chips.nDespite the fact that the venue was full food came to our table very quickly.nThe meal was outstanding, steak was soft and cooked exactly as I wanted. The sides were great, fresh salad and crispy chips.nAt the end of the evening Albany had turned on the rain, a torrent was streaming down the main road. One of my guests has a disability and needs help. Out of nowhere a gent appeared with an umbrella and helped us get her to the car. What an absolute legend, a shame we didn't get his name. This kind act just finished off the perfect evening.nSo if you're in Albany and want a great evening out with awesome food and atmosphere then don't overlook the Earl of Spencer.

Cute historic pub close to the centre of Albany. Open fire makes for a great atmosphere in winter, reminiscent of a British pub. Good selection of beers including local offerings.nnProbably one of my favourite pubs in WA.

A beautiful old pub, very friendly staff who were especially lovely to our 3 year old. Kids play area out the back (outside). Fire on inside. Meals generous. What's not to like!

Cute pub with a nice atmosphere and good service. We received a small serving of fish that came with salad and chips, while the other serving was a rather bland pie with thick pastry served with chips.. I will return for drinks only next time.
