Brighton Hotel

Staff was lovely and attentive. Ordered a medium rare steak and it turned out to be well done. The staff immediately apologised and got me another one. At this stage I was impressed by the staff and the service I have received. However, the steak this time around had a very strong taste of cooked proscuitto, like it was grilled on the same spot right after without having a wipe down. The steak tasted awful and ended up eating only one bite of the steak. The rest of the meals were also a mixed bag. The prosciutto wrapped chicken breasts were a tad overcooked making them dry. The 2 salmon dishes we ordered were absolutely amazing. The burgers were okay. I think the issues with the food could be due to the odd timing of our meal at about 2.30pm. I don't think this is a typical scenario as I have always heard good things about the place.

We've been trying The Brighton out every one of the last ten years. Today's meals were the best.nnGreat service, a good menu and wine list. Food well plated and delicious.

Our group held their meet and greet here, it was most enjoyable up on the deck with a soft estuary breeze keeping the evening warm. I ordered a yummy pizza and the wine was good.

Had the 250g sirloin steak and steak sandwich. Great food and portions, table service with cocktails available albeit limited cocktail availability in the restaurant. Table service by Kyle and Danielle both of which were friendly and Kyles smile and happy demeanor lights up the venue.

We went to a function of the Fringe Festival held in one of the areas of the Brighton Hotel.nStaff and service was excellent.nOur meals were outstanding.nOverall good vibe and great venue.nWe highly recommend this venue to anyone.
