Your Local Subiaco

My partner and I absolutely loved Your Local in Subiaco. Even though we did not book a table ahead of a time, they managed to squeeze us in right away, on a busy Friday night. We started the night off with French Martinis and Japanese whiskey on the rocks, along with an order of the grilled bread and the chorizo as our entree. The entrees were the perfect size, and were filled with so much flavor. For my main I had the scotch fillet steak, with peppercorn sauce and potatoes, which would have to be one of the best peppercorn sauces I ever had. The sauce had a slight sweetness to it, along with whole peppercorns for the extra kick if you wanted it. The potatoes were flavorful with herbs and went great with the sauce as well. My partner had the pressed lamb shoulder, with layered potatoes, and said it didn't come the way he was expecting it, but was delicious none the less. The service was amazing! As soon as we walked in, the manager/owner greeted us, and sat us right away. After a few minutes with the menu, our drinks order was taken, and our food order was taken as soon as we got the drinks. After a few bites into our food, we had our waitress come and check how the meal was. And then we were left to enjoy the rest of the evening. We will definitely be back. The service and food were both amazing, and I look forward to coming back and having even more from their menu, including the dessert!

Sean and the team at Your Local were fantastic. We had a function with 25 adults and a bunch of rowdy kids and, thanks to the smooth and attentive service, all was fantastic. Great food with generous serves, nice wine selection and great service made our day a memorable one. Sean went above and beyond to help us and is a real asset to the place. Thanks for the great day!

The five of us booked a table for a Sunday afternoon lunch and this is how we all came up with just three stars...n. The decor and atmosphere is very good.n. The staff are very attentive and friendly.n. Food quality was average. Not bad, not great, just average.n. Meals are overpriced for the size of the portions - $25 for 2 prawns cut in half was a bit rich! - Fish(the frozen kind) & house cut fries(the soggy kind) was very disappointing! - Lamb Shoulder was not the best and sounds nice but not that good! - The scallop dish was so small it was gone in a mouthful and like the prawns, also not worth the $22.nSorry Local, we will go back up the road to Dilly Dally next time!

Second time I visit Your Local with a group of friends and second time we have a great night. The fact that they have round tables for groups is a plus! Lovely and professional staff. Great quality food, with some classics and some more innovative dishes.

Your Local is a great new gem in Subi! I highly recommend dining there as you won't be disappointed. They have a delicious food menu and impressive drinks menu. The atmosphere was lovely and inviting, staff were also extremely helpful and super nice! :)
