Great place for lunchtime dining Excellent seating areas indoors and out Used to head here for Beef and Guinness pie...sadly not on the menu any more. Serving portions very generous so think about sharing if you go for lunch if you are an oldie like me. Apparently the choice of beers is good too.

Delicious beer and even better food! First time here and will definitely be back! Edit: originally wrote this review two years back, but wanted to come back and edit it. The Balmoral Hotel has continued to be one of our favourite lunch destinations over the past few years with delicious food and a good selection of rotating craft beer taps. We always have a very pleasant experience, love the decor and design of the venue and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend visiting for a drink and meal! So good to have a pub offering so many vegan options. Food is great; though there is room for improvement. Vegan burger patty is regularly not cooked enough. The burrito definitely needs a sauce. Loaded fries are amazing! Service is always friendly and the amount of patrons speaks for itself. Recommended.

Nice friendly pub, good selection of tap beers and the menu/food looks decent also :) I can only vouch for the brisket loaded chips, as that's all I tried... but they were very tasty! A spacious, modern and lively venue with cool decor and multiple seating areas (inside and out) Also has a free car park out the back, but tends to get busy! All in all, a good spot for a catch up with mates, an after work drink, or even a Sunday sesh. Staff very friendly also. Recommended!

They do a really good quiz night. Good is good. Drinks are more expensive than most places though.
