Our special night was pretty much a disaster. The 2 and half hour window we had to enjoy our meal was lost because it took over an hour for our main meal to arrive! When it did arrive, my wife would of liked to send it back as it was reheated lamb, tough with no flavour. But as it took so long to arrive there was no time to reorder. We both were looking forward to sweets. But time had run out! Great view. The wait person was lovely. The rest was forgettable.

It would be a 5star review, for the amazing food and especially the barman who make awesome cocktails and his warm communication. Unfortunately when we came into the place 2 staff were supposed to welcome us, we stand a while but they were laughing at each other and ignore us on purpose. We've ask if we could get a table and the girl just point at the bar. How can you have a food and bar service so good in one hand and such condescendant people on the other hand? Mystery...

Had a fabulous evening. Maitre d Tony was amazingly attentive with great suggestions. Chef Andy whipped up superb flavours. The Exmouth prawns and market fish were the highlights of the evening, an absolute treat for the palate.

Great view. Total highway robbery. We had the $130 Seafood platter for two as did our friends. The high tea style platter LOL, had a whole medium crayfish cut in two. One piece of over tiny overcooked fish, 3 prawns and three scallops with some chips and a tablespoon of Sashimi. How embarrassing we had to cut a scallop and prawn in half. When we approached the manager he didn't know what to do. Two of everything would have been the acceptable minimum. Tony the new manager did try and we got a free wine and a beer. Manager seemed petrified of the Executive Chef and told us that the Executive Chef gave him a hard time when he went back to him with our feedback. Oh and the female waitress had her head so far up her own backside it was just exhausting. Never again.

A bit of hidden place, off the main crawl of bars in Perth with great views of the river and a lovely airy atmosphere. Can recommend the steak sandwich but the broccolini in almond sauce is definitely worth ordering!
