Very well managed, clean, and the trains run on time - But the antisocial people who loiter all day outside on Wellington Street, in front of the Perth Train Station should be routinely moved on. They make it a no-go zone for many Perth people. The people loitering often abuse and threaten people passing by. They sometimes fight. You get open drinking - though that is a lot worse further along Wellington Street on the other side (east) of Beaufort/Barrack Street. I won't mention any race in particular, as that is against Google policy, but people will soon see for themselves. 25 years ago in Perth my family would travel on public transport from places like Gosnells to the city at night - and we really never saw all that much trouble. But now travelling at night (especially on the Midland, or Armadale trains from the Perth Station), there is a good chance that you will encounter some kind of, possibly very disturbing antisocial behaviour. There are several examples uploaded on Youtube - and these only a tiny sample of what goes on. There is often no security personnel at all on the trains.

Being slugged $11 for forgetting to tag off borders on outright corruption. I hope whoever made that rule has their family dragged into the street and their house burnt down.

Nowhere to buy even a bottle of water if you're here after 7pm. As the major train station for Western Australia's capital city, I would have at least expected a vending machine. Transperth truly sucks.
