We were incredibly impressed with the professionalism and service given by the 3 guys who came out and moving our home from a 2 story story townhouse to a freestanding single storey.nAdministration level was good but not fantastic.n3 star review because the actual young lads who moved everything were very friendly, efficient and polite and should all get a pay rise - because - they don’t get paid any extra for being nice people, but they definitely deserve it.nCost was acceptable but the final bill was higher than we originally anticipated. No explanation of the hours of the hours charged or why it was so much not the amount per hour which was amended from the original hourly quoted by adding a 3rd person.nFeel the administrator should be a bit more forthcoming with this information.

I have nothing but praise for the guys at Affordable Movers.. they arrived on time and got stuck in..the 2 guys we had were friendly and by the time they had finished they felt like part of the family! They didn't stop all day and I would have NO hesitation recommending Affordable Movers for your next move!! You won't regret it! Thank you for making our move a lot more bearable!

I booked this company a few weeks ago for a local move. I told them it was a two bedroom townhouse. They said that there was a minimum of 2.5 hours at $ 165 (including gst) per hour. When I made the booking I was told it would probable be around 2.5 to 3 hours. They were booked for 7.30 and finished at 11.00. They charged for 4 hours. The truck they sent was not big enough for the move and had to do two trips. The distance between my old house and the new house was an 18 minute drive but it took them 30 minutes each trip. When I spoke to the manager he insisted that the truck arrived at 7.15 which was a lie. Instead of taking the most direct route which was the motor way they took the side roads. The manager said he sent his best workers and medium size trust. . Well if that was the best workers and a medium size truck I would have hated to see the small truck and the not so Best workers. Would never recommend this company again.

Maui and Thomas were amazing. Stronger then they look. Trustworthy and reliable. I had alot of delicate and heavy items and they were all transported with ease. They took the time to ensure everything was transported and unloaded safely. Would use them again.

Dion and Bronson were absolutely amazing!!! From beginning to end our move from Gold Coast to Brisbane move went smoothly. The service they provided was outstanding and they motored along well. Would have absolutely no issue in recommending them to anyone.nTim and Tara.
