The Royal

Going out for the day we dropped into the royal for one drink . Well we ended up staying for lunch :) . After a little walk around the Royal looking at the paintings we ended up sitting down upstairs on the Verandah. Great sitting area watching the world go by while having a nice cocktail.nWe ended up with the surf and turf which is cooked median. My wife had a seafood pie which tasted amazing, this was on the special list.nDesert was cookies and cream salted caramel with bread and butter budding .nWell this did fill us up . Great way to start the day.

Staff named as Elly has a such a lovely customer services. From offering a suggestions menu for me to order, she just beyond the expectations. Chat with us like we knew each other. Great greeting, exceptional customer services and professional. She should be credited with tbis company as her excellent services. I will definitely give some official feedback in royal feedback or email for this ladies.

What a venue! On of the best ways to spend a day out on the balcony. Nice range of beers (standards and craft) along with some delicious cocktails and wines.nnThe food is always delicious and well presented and the staff are amazing! You won't ever have an empty drink here.nnIf you like your old architecture, you will appreciate how the Royal has kept the original style and feel of this amazing building.

Great bar, good drinks and friendly staff. Food is a little pricey for what you get, but still fine. Sound system is pretty ordinary for modern bar standards but is also fine. Despite those two minor downfalls I'll still be back.

Nice pub with great view upstairs. Just a shame they have no vegan dishes at all. Even the chips are coated in egg batter. Such a shame and would be good if they could rectify this, as if I can't buy snacks here, then I'll drink elsewhere.
