Coolalinga Tavern

It’s been way too many years since I was last here. But yep…I’m back. Well back in Darwin that is. But the shipping centre is brilliant and dropping into the tavern for lunch on Mother’s Day we were blessed with a complimentary champers and a high class restaurant style meal. To compliment all this were perfectly poured beers, an incredible wine list with decent aussie wines at good prices and reds kept cool. Air con was blizzard style icy cold which was perfect on a hot humid day and surprisingly the beer gardens were lovely with ceiling fans and fresh air. Just a great place to visit

The venue was nice and it was very busy. I wasnt very happy with my meal, the others at my table felt the meal was average. Glad I tried it, not sure if I will be back.

Lovely friendly staff and a great dining experience which is quite cheap for Darwin if you're on a budget.
