Malanda Falls Visitor Centre

Excellent visitor information centre, not just related to Malanda Falls but details of volcanoes, rainforest and tree kangaroos. Lots of interactive exhibits that kept our 4 year old entertained and helped her learn about the area. The staff there were really friendly, knowledgeable and clearly enjoy their time there. Highly recommend!

One of the best visitors centre we have seen. Fantastic staff. Love their area and it shows in their encounters. The falls are gorgeous and would be beautiful in summer. Wonderful walking trails.

This is a great visitor's information centre, located right next to Malanda falls and packed full of interactive exhibits. You can learn about volcanic activity, tree kangaroos, Bush survival and Indigenous history in this bright and cheery centre. There are also a range of local books, produce, jewellery and souvenirs for sale. Definitely worth a visit if you are interested in the natural environment and/or local history.

Very knowledgable and forthcoming staff. Interesting exhibits and videos about the geology, political history, etc. I could have spent more time there. Plenty of brochures. Clean loo.
