Exotic Discus

I'm new to keeping fish and needed an air pump for my new pond pot gold fish. Shop owner was extremely helpful and after asking pertinent questions, she steered me away from the $90 pump I'd selected and towards a $25 pump more suited to my pot pond environment. She even set it up for me and gave me clear instructions on how to install it at home! Happy to report that my fish are now happier and enjoying their pond more. Great personalised service, good practical advice - happy to recommend this shop to anyone who loves their fish!!! She also has more exotic fish if you're looking to add to your aquarium 👍

I think this place is the best aquarium shop in the Cairns area there is a wide range of species and the owner is super friendly

I was appalled at the MULTIPLE tanks with MULTIPLE deaths. A tank with a fish that had been dead and decomposing so long, it had the white "fluff" consuming it. Siamese Fighters were stacked precariously in take out containers, which I nearly knocked over. I couldn't get out of the shop quick enough as I was sickened by the multiple deaths and dying fish. Don't worry, we won't be back in. We happily have taken our business elsewhere.

Incredibly distressing. The closer you look at the live stock the more depressing. Tanks have diseased, dead and very sick looking fish mixed among healthy ones. There are tanks with unidentifiable mouldy fish floating on the top, fighter fish in cloudy water stacked in a pyramid (a disaster waiting to happen). I feel horrible entering this aquarium and leaving these poor fish to die in their tanks. I mentioned how worrying the sick and dead fish are and the owner just looked away from me. I would be ashamed of myself if I owned this store. They are fish, but living beings and they deserve a life not to be condemned to this ignorant owner. Following these reviews I've posted, I have since received incredibly rude messages and private messages from the owner and their son. I would avoid this aquarium.
