Dundee’s at the Cairns Aquarium

Simply sensational! From the moment that we arrived and were greeted by our lovely hostess, we had a delightful dining experience with a lovely view of the fish. The tasting plate was to die for, followed by an amazing coral trout and delicious sirloin for my husband. We will have to return again for dessert next time, as they looked fabulous but we were too full!

The food here is very tasty. I had a fantastically done, medium-rare steak which really stood out. Their cocktail list is also pretty decent. I managed to try four of their cocktails and they were all nice, tropical and tasty. The staff at Dundee's are very attentive even though they are exceptionally busy, they are more than capable of dealing with the dinner rush and are humorous and polite. We didn't have a single server, but the 3 or 4 that attended us all communicated well as a team and knew what we wanted. Would come back again. Found Nemo in a cocktail too.

One of the most amazing surprises! We ate lunch here and was served by the amazing Marc (with a c). The view of the fish was amazing in which we names each fish during our food journey! My husband and I are both tourism heads and we will be recommending this place to all our contacts! It’s places like these that will excel post Covid and we couldn’t believe how amazing this was!

My family dined at the restaurant for dinner and all of the staff were exceptional, the wait staff went out of their way to ensure we were well looked after and were so friendly and each of them made sure to have a laugh with our family. The food was amazing and highly recommended the coral trout and chocolate lava cake. If you are looking to enjoy an amazing dinner with the very best customer service, this is the place to go. We will come time and time again and highly recommend it.

Excellent food with great variety, great atmosphere, awesome being able to watch the fish swimming around. The service was exemplary. Engaging, friendly, and funny staff went out of their way to make sure everyone was having a good time. Loved it here.
