Beautiful shop and its got a nice different vibe. We ordered large mocha and it was smooth. Really loved it! Thx to whoever made it.

Fantastic coffee break and browse. Stopped off in Mareeba for a coffee and can’t beat their great Black Mountain Blend was definitely smooth. To top it off whilst enjoying the coffee there we had a taste test of their superb liqueurs . 5 to choose from and you get to taste test them all. A mixture of coffee chocolate type liqueurs. We went for their black top and the latte blend but could of bought them all. $48 per bottle with a small gift included of coffee beans or chocolate if your choice . Then you can browse the shop and also the chocolate area. Well worth the slight detour

When touring the Atherton Tablelands take time to visit the Crown Jewel. Coffee Works located just off the Main road into Mareeba is worthy of this number 1 rating. The gift shop is filled with gifts suitable for any occasion. I would say though the coffee and chocolate experience exceeded my expectations. We left with some beautifully infused coffee beans with an aroma that motivates one to get back home and enjoy. A worthy stop for any trip.

A huge thank you to Coffee Works. My original order was lodged at Australia Post but then disappeared. Coffee Works sent a replacement order, were pleasant to deal with throughout. We had to wait over 20 minutes for 2 ‘coffees’ and watched as people who sat down after us received their order. It cost $9.60 for small take away cups even though we were ‘dining’ in. One was a double shot which my grandmother, who usually has half strength, would find easy to drink. The staff member who eventually brought out our coffee gave us a chocolate samples to make up for the poor service. We decided that if their chocolate is anything like the coffee we would leave it on the table, which we did. If you like tacky trinkets and tasteless overpriced coffee this may be the place for you.
