Paronella Park

Beautiful park to visit with a great back story and vision. The heritage is beautiful and the landscaping and waterfalls are not to be missed. Our young children also enjoyed feeding the turtles, fish and eels. We stayed overnight and loved the night tour! We were on sight 4, bring a long hose for both water and waste as the facilities are on the right side of the slab. Will be visiting again when we are up north again as our children will be a little older and will allow us to explore more of this massive park! Special thanks to our tour guides by Mandy, Lee and Amanda. The reception staff were also very friendly and welcoming!

We had a great time at Paronella Park this week. We arrived around 5pm, explored the grounds and then joined the night tour which was magical. The owner came out to say hi and tell us some stories which I thought was a really nice touch. We also stayed on-site which was included in the ticket price and the facilities were better than a number of other sites we have stayed. We also ate at the hotel which was a bit of a miss for me the food was standard pub grub but a little overcooked and the oil in which most food was fried in felt a bit old- everything came out super dark. Saying that we still ate it and it wouldn't lower my rating!

A 10 out of 10, well deserved. Totally wonderful and unique experience a must see. 2 tours( day and night). The Mena Creek hotel has excellent meals, great service and try the local beer. Book ahead, and you can stay at the grounds for one night. You also get a 2 year pass.

So worth the detour off the highway! Gorgeous countryside along the way and within the park itself is steeped in the legacy of the Paronella family. The bizarre romanticism that led to the park's creation is of yesteryear and reminds us of simpler times and the hard work & adventure of the immigrants of generations from long ago - all of whom helped shaped this country into the multicultural delight it is today. Mark is a gracious host and the staff, especially our young tour guide really add to the whole experience. Tick this one off your Bucket List!

We have been looking forward to visiting Paronella Park for a few years and were not disappointed. A beautiful property with an amazing history. We experienced the day and night tour...excellent. We stayed in the cabins, that were exceptionally clean and comfortable . We went to the local pub for a meal..again exceptional. All of the staff were all wonderful, Les our tour guide was great. Thank you Mark for sharing your wonderful property. Thank you to Jose Paronella for chasing his dream.
