Cairns ZOOM and Wildlife Dome

Very informative and enjoyable experience. Our animal guide Pablo was very informative and his enthusiasm was very contagious. The kids enjoyed learning about the animals. It's good to note that the challenge rope course is not included in the admission ticket. If you get the 4 park pass you get 20% off on the rope courses. You pay $16 for the first course and $8 for the courses after that. There's around 6 courses in total. I did two and it was a well spent morning. They give you a return admission so I'd advise to enjoy the morning have lunch (can be hot and tiring) and come another time for the afternoon animal sessions.

Costs a lot for a small selection of animals. Not good for little children unless you plan to go several times over the 4 day pass. The other activities looked fun for older children. Need gloves for rope ladder climb. Lots of shows to view. Just not right for toddlers.

This was so much fun! We walked around the enclosures and looked at the different animals they have. We decided to also do both of the ropes course. Pretty cool to zip line over the second largest crocodile in captivity, if a little scary haha. Would recommend not going in the afternoon when the dome has had heat on it all day though! The staff are lovely, funny and very helpful!

Really fun environment! So many birds and beasts in one big home. I can still hear the Red Tailed Black Cockatoos and the snap of Goliath's jaws. Pablo was a very knowledgeable and experienced guide and the rest of the staff were very professional. This place is covid safe and taking precautions
