Speaking as someone approaching middle age, I really appreciated the music here; they played two "lighthouse family" songs tonight, I didn't even know there were two lighthouse family songs! Well, as you can imagine when I found out I immediately called all of my friends and family to tell them all about it. 10/10 would recommend. Great ambience, good music, and the bar staff are awesome; Peter, you're a bit of a legend and I'd like to thank you for not pointing and laughing at me.

We celebrated my little boys 1st birthday in the River Room and we could not be happier with our decision to hire this venue. They were very friendly and very helpful, the food was absolutely amazing and the view from the River Room was breathtaking. I am very very happy with the experience I had with these guys and I highly recommend this venue for your functions. Thank you Southbank Beer Garden. XX Manizha

Nice place, has a lift around the side for those that need it.

It was a wet day, but we had a booking for our daughters graduation, the food was nice, but the vibe from the staff wasn't great. They served some tables but not ours, we had to get up and order from the counter, and when you've got elderly family with you the stairs were a issue, and the staff didn't seem overly friendly or interested.
