South Australian Museum

This place has great exhibits, especially the animals exhibit at the ground floor. If you look closely at Nathan the Lion which seemed to be the main exhibit in the animal section, you will see his tail twitching. It has three levels consisting of different sections, and the best part is entrance is free. Fees are only required for special exhibits.

Informative...but wrong world view....time lines are wrong....THOUSANDS NOT millions of years old....

The strange thing about this place is how empty it often is.... It's free, you always find something you've not seen before and much of it has had serious amount of money spent on great displays. Favourite areas are the Pacific island displays and the fossils. And they have their own bees, which your can actually see from the outside, buzzing in and out! What's not to like. Nice little cafe and gift shop as well.

I love this museum. The exhibits are versatile; there are lots of things you can see and learn from, whether you are a child or an adult. Sadly I can't use the interactive tablet the last time I visited this museum because of the COVID-19 restrictions. Hopefully I can use it on the next visit cos I'd love to learn more in this museum.

Wow. Very different from my last visit. Really interesting displays, so much to see. Gotta come back again and again. Highly recommend.
