Comfy bed. Great host. Simple but just what you need. They provide great snacks in the common room. Just what you need when feeling pekish.

30 years ago vibrant exciting hotel - 10 years ago - clique vibe - 2018 wanted to give a go under new ownership but not really welcoming, heard now definitely don't encourage locals.

Loved Lunch today , Mumsie and Dad had the Seafood baskets, very yummy. I had the Atlantic Salmon served medium rare very nice chef. We come to the old Blood and Guts quite a few times during the year , never disappoints. Love it friendly staff and the food always good, today was exceptionally well. Fantastic guys loved it !!!

Steak and chips were amazing. Staff was great. Quiet and small.

Have only just got off the phone after having booked a weekend away here at the end of September but I just wanted to say the service provided over the phone was extremely courteous, polite and helpful, unlike some other local places I had rang. Looking forward to our stay in a few weeks time. Thanks for helping with our accomodation at such short notice. :-)
