Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)

My dog was stolen out of the shoppers in sylvan lake beside Sobeys on August 26. She's a small white long haired chihuahua. And she was my angel. I am constantly playing phone tag with this detachment trying to work with them to find my dog. Iv found out where these individuals live, got their license plate # , full names, phone number, descriptions, I've done all I can do; and the officer assigned to my case can't even do the bare minimum, which would be to accompany me as I go to their house to find out what happened to my dog!! They find any and every excuse for why they can't help me, or they simply just tell me they will call me back. It's obvious they don't care at all; but these are OUR taxpaying dollars that are paying for their hourly wage. And they can't even be bothered to do their job.

Officer Irving took 45 minutes to realize I had insurance the ENTIRE TIME. after not just asking me. She misunderstood something I said, and wasted 45 minutes of my time figuring out something she literally could have asked me. Anyways, I communicated to her that I am currently on my way to the hockey rink to LEAD the Learn2Play icetime for 38 kids. Those 38 kids now dont have pucks, or any equipment because I'm sitting in eckville getting a ticket. The ticket is for not having registration. I explained to Office Irving that I'm extremely busy, and when I have time the registries have been closed. I currently live alone; and needed to get to the registry. I WAS ON MY WAY TO THE REGISTRY BEFORE PRACTICE. I asked if she could let me get there and register my truck, she said yes but after I give you a 314$ ticket. I communicated to her and showed her my current bank statement and how I cant afford that. She said "it's my job to protect the community from people driving to the registration office that dont have registration" I was pretty upset because I live on a farm and we just paid 1 thousand dollars more in taxes for cop presence..... now the cop presence isnt protecting my farm from theft, but it is costing me money for dinky tickets?!?!?!?! Whoever is in charge at this station, can we stop punishing the community that pays everyone?

Unfortunately I lost my cousin in lake water, but I really appreciate the help that we got from you guys. All the staff was with us to find him. I Especially thanks to Sgt. Stephenie LESYK to understand our situation better. At last I want to say, they got a best crew to help us out.

They were very gentle when they handcuffed me, and the back of their squad cars were clean and very roomy. Super professional, I will get arrested by them again for sure.

I had to leave work early in Stettler I checked your website and called for hours of operation both stated 4:30 i arrived at 4:05 and the detachment was closed
