I had a very bad holiday experience when I rented a car from Sauvageau. I call, I am made an offer which is rather bad, then when I inform them of the offer previously made by Discount, the seller, Julie (not to name it), decides to match the offer of Discount . X amount for 11 days of rental + unlimited km. The company does not normally do unlimited km, but it was the only way to give me a price that could beat their direct competitor. Finally, the day of the rental, it's a mess at Sauvageau. The car is not ready, my contract is badly done, my saleswoman is on vacation so impossible to reach. I am told that it is written 1200km on the contract (and I already planned to drive more than that), we telephone, nobody is aware. I am in a hurry, I am already late for my carpools, I am told that when Julie comes back from vacation, we can work out together. I sign. When I return, I am charged the additional costs associated with the km. I call Julie ... who denies having promised me an unlimited km? I am ready to swear on anything you want us to have discussed. It was the only way I could do business with them. They don't want to understand anything, imply that I'm lying to them. In the end, I had to persist with them for hours to get my money back.
