My travelling partner and I reserved the Pointe Carniel Lodge for two nights in August 2018 with no prior experience with this type of accommodation and our time there was extremely rewarding. I have never seen such attention to detail and everything we could have wanted was provided at the Lodge before we even thought of it. Felicitas & Ron gave us a new appreciation for what hosts could be. The drive to the Lodge itself was a relaxing trip through Quebec farmland and countryside. The food that the hosts provided was extraordinary. We have never had food that was so fresh and so good, handmade and delivered right to the door. The chickens that lay the eggs and the bees that provide the honey share the property with you. The coffee is fresh and imported. We enjoyed the privacy on the beach and the beautiful swimming area. One night as we sat by the fire we were treated to a breathtaking lightning storm on the other side of the lake. The cottage itself is beautiful with an amazing Jacuzzi, kitchen and deck area with chairs. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer, but we will definitely be returning.

Just spent a beautiful weekend at this lovely lodge. Everything was super clean! Home made bread, marmalade, honey and so much more! Simply delicious! We most definitely will go back. Even met the chickens whose eggs we had for breakfast! Highly recommend this place
