This place and selection is great! The staff are amazing, knowledgeable and super friendly. I love the brands and quality products they carry. My go to and locally owned!

Great local pet store. I don't demand much from a pet store, but they have local pet food brands at good prices. Easy pick to go here.

They are very sweet to my puppy

I have an adorable chocolate lab who is also my soul mate, best friend and the one I spoil the most. My chocolate lab is also a service dog for me and we are never separated, even at bedtime when she sleeps with me! I am sure many other dog/cat/bird, etc lovers will feel the same way. I used to go to Mr.Pets on Westwood. Bottom line; didn't like their store, lack of knowledge of products and unfriendliness. I tried Petmsmart many years ago, but they do not stock (it seems) Canadian dog made food. That was a big closure for me as the standards for pet food are way better in Canada vs. USA. I used to try a Bosley's store. I must say I like their friendliness and product knowledge from the staff. Still not wanting to rest until I found MY FAVOURITE pet store my search went on. Meanwhile I got very scared with DCM, Dilated Cardio Myopathy, last year with Canadian and US made pet foods. That is when I really had to be serious about the best kibble I could buy for my best friend (wags!). I turned to Petcurean and I had struck gold! I researched and researched online. Major thing to be absent, DCM. That put me at ease, especially as I had to stop giving my girl an Alberta pet food maker. I made contact with Petcurean's office a while ago and was over joyed when I spoke with Val. She sent me emails to read about their products vs. their competitors. You know what?! Val was totally impartial suggesting my girl could remain on the Alberta made pet food I was feeding my girl for years or switch to another Canadian dog food made by a company in Chilliwack. Wow, locally made food, high in consumer standards/demands and multiple ranges of food they have in the Pet Food 'N More store. Now I should ideally switch over to Pet Food 'N More. I have dealt with several of the staff here. You know what? None of them were unkind in all the years I have been coming through here. I took the advice many years ago from a brand I won't go into much: Acana, AB. The staff at Pet Food 'N More are VERY knowledgeable and steer you with no pushing on what product may be be for your pet. Right now I forget the names of some of the lovely people that work at Pet Food 'N More, but today I was blessed to be helped with Sandra. Her work ethic is passion for animals and not superficial. Val from Petcurean gave me some coupons to use and I bought more bags in different sizes to see how my ChocoLab would do on it. Sandra went beyond the scope of customer service. It was as if she was taking questions from my mind and ever so delicately suggesting the different Petcurean foods. So once again a big thank you to Sandra for sorting out through 3 different coupons I had when I came here this afternoon. She also was impartial with what products to suggest, but I had Petcurean coupons and I KNOW I was buying future food for my princess. Still, Sandra gave me even more confidence why I should stick with the Petcurean range of of pet food. SUMMARY: Great, knowledgeable and friendly staff at Pet Food 'N More in Coquitlam. Not at ALL pushy by the staff here and they genuinely like the idea of getting you the best for your furry friends! Petcurean: what can I say?: the best pet food company in the world for my dog. I have travelled to many places around the world and SO many push for grain added food. Not such a good idea. Thank you Sandra & Val.
