Very good petstore. They have wide variety of high quality products (especially for small animals like hamsters and guinea pigs - some brands of food I bought today aren't available elsewhere in/around Vancouver). Also I was very pleased to see available large size guinea pig cages. Overall - very positive experience.
Staff has been super helpful on many occasions. Good selection of food for food sensitive dogs. Store layout is a bit wierd- but with friendly staff they'll take you right to whatever it is you're looking for.
The staff caring animals are friendly and seem to have passions in taking good care of them. However, the experience of purchasing pet food is a different story. They have confusingly an online (sale) price, a regular price and a member sale price, and no one tells you that they are all different until you find discrepancies in what they charge and ask. And they seem to be more willing to charge you the highest price, which is usually 10-15% higher than other locally-owned pet stores.
Amazing prices! Really helpful, smart staff that actually know about all the different pets they sell. The staff I talked to knew about really specific information on rats and I was really impressed.
Animals are well taken care for. Their enclosures look very clean and well kept. Open pens for easier human-animal interaction. They have great knowledge on animal care and informative pamphlets on many pets, definitely more informative than other pet stores. Very friendly and knowledgable staff.
