Craftsman Collision

Overall a great place to visit for collision claims. I dealt with them twice, first time they lost my insurance papers and denied it.. 2nd time they were correct on estimates and call backs. I think they do mid-high range quality of work.

Went it for an ICBC claim and thought they have a good name with good service and value. The Assistant Manager, Dennis Umanksy, is a very unprofessional and rude Assistant Manager in any workplace I have ever met. Full Story: Came in with my car and he basically concluded that it would be a total loss. He took some pictures and pretty much nothing else, with the assumption that it will be a total loss (judging by how junky and old my car was). Got a call from ICBC and surprise! my car will be repaired. Then, came back to this shop with hopes that my baby car will be repaired... Talked to the Manager (who is more professional) about the damage in my car and surprise! Dennis did not assess my car properly - he did not see the major and obvious damage that happened inside my trunk. The manager was nice enough to give me a courtesy car while I wait for the decision, because my car's muffler sounded really weird and the brake light was on (which Dennis did not assess as well). End of story, got the final decision that it's a total loss and I got haunted EVERY SINGLE DAY by Dennis's phone calls to return the courtesy car at office hours while I was working... What a painful experience for me to go back and forth to this place to deal with this error from him, that he is probably still proud of. I've spread the words and I should've gone to other places. Awful awful experience with this shop!

Please stay away from this place. The lady answering the phone doesn't care, the people working there don't care. There are many better choices in Port Moody.... and this isn't one of them. Stay clear !

Mike Salter and his team Ann & Dennis who helped with my collision case were extremely understanding and helpful. They're professional to the T during the complete process, as well as amazingly customer friendly especially with inexperienced/first-time ICBC claimers. Hassle-free experience in such a delicate time for me.

I had approx 2 thousand dollars damage to my front driver side headlight area and the work was performed by Craftsman Collision. The headlight ($1000.) was supposed to be changed so I thought but apparently it was not. There was interior unseen damage and the headlight would fog. Dealing with the manager was a brutal experience. He performed a surgical examination of my headlight to find an an excuse not to change it. I've had more enjoyable experiences going to a funeral parlour. It took several trips before the work was performed. And with that they left garbage in the car on two ocassions from work done to other cars. What a terrible experience. It took several trips to get a simple headlight changed combined with the manager's dour disposition which transended throughout the office area. I'd rather go to the morgue, the people there would be more pleasent.
