Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)

Proactive, but polite. Police officer used good judgement to check on me and my vehicle late at night at the park next to the river. The officer was very respectful and by not flashing her red and blues unnecessarily, subtly communicated that she wasn't trying to intimidate us, just there to make sure nothing suspicious was going on. The chat was as long as it needed to be, especially once I mentioned I was there with my girlfriend and it was pretty clear that the only thing we were guilty of was enjoying each other's company.... It's clear to see that this particular officer "gets" it. A positive police contact. Well done!
