Onoway Inn and Suites

I had a decent stay there for four months. With me staying longer, I paid a $400 damage deposit. I came in and saw the suite briefly before moving in. After I moved out, we returned the keys and showed them the suite and presumed everything was ok. A week later, I noticed people already staying there so I contacted them about my damage deposit. They refused to give it back and claimed that I did damages to their furniture which I did not. There was no move in or move out report that I signed and there was no proof given that the damages were not done before I moved in for the four months. Now, they refuse to give me my $400 back with no proof that I caused any damages. I am resorting to having to take them to court. Always take pictures of EVERYTHING before you move in anywhere as you never know how the company is going to try to keep what is rightfully yours based on false accusations.

Onoway Inn and Suites was justified in keeping Natasha Michaud damage deposit . The motel was new and her suite had not been occupied prior to her stay. The damage to the suite was extensive and far exceeded the damage deposit retained. We are a new business and make every effort to have our guests enjoy their stay with us. No other damage deposit has been retained besides hers. Management
