We had an amazing stay at Peace River Cabins, and I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. We spent two nights in one of their full service cabins. It was private and serene, and a real chance to unplug. We had hot showers, a very comfortable bed, and everything we needed to cook delicious meals. Lazy mornings were spent on the covered porch watching the river flow by, with regular appearances of a bald eagle and a mom and her fawn across the river. It was cool and rainy so we didn't take advantage of the fire pit just in front of the cabin, but that would be a great way to end the evening. If we had a couple more days to stay, we would definitely have opted to join a river trip! Next time--we will be back for sure!

PRCO was the start and finish of our 6-day trip down the Peace river – our first time in this region. If you like wilderness, this trip is for you and you could not find better outfitters and advisers than Anne and Henry. Our experience with them was great from start to finish. On the 3-hour shuttle to our starting point, Henry gave us a great history lesson of the region and detailed tips about amazing places to stop along the river (hidden cabins, anyone?). Anne and Henry know the Peace River really well both as long-time paddlers and Henry as a pilot who flies over the river regularly. The river lives up to its name and is a chance to experience real wilderness. We saw countless deer and beavers up close – and even bears and a moose from a safe distance! Our experience with PRCO and the Peace was a great introduction to this region and we can’t wait to be back and explore it more.

Perfect, everything and more as advertised. Relaxing and refreshing for body and mind. Planning another stay without a doubt.

Great service, super friendly people willing to share good information helping plan our canoe trip! All rental equipment was in good condition and they were happy to throw in a couple of smaller items for no extra cost. The Peace River itself was beautiful and very peaceful, didn’t see another person on the river for 4 days and saw lots of awesome wildlife.

A couple of friends and I Canoed from Pratts Landing to Anne and Henry's establishment near Peace River. We had rented 2 canoes off them and they shuttled us to Pratts Landing. Henry was great company while he shuttled us and gave us plenty of helpful info. Anne and Henry were very easy to deal with. Upon returning, Henry picked us and the equipment up down at the river and offered us a shower. Great experience. Beautiful scenery. Good amount of wildlife. Caught some fish. Anne and Henry have a veryy prestine property.
