My go to hotel in Richmond, BC. Great rooms. Excellent bed. Pillows could be better. Shower fantastic (good water pressure even on the sixth floor and dispensers in the shower for shampoo, conditioner and body soap instead of those little bottles also big shower water head). Need to change out lamps to ones with or add power stations for electronic devices. Great price usually on hotels.com. Ooh...great bar and restaurant in hotel.

This hotel is very dated and requires a very much needed update. It's like walking into the twilight zone and heading right back into the 70's. That being said... The staff was very good, as was the hotel restaurant. But it's definitely not a 3 star ⭐ hotel.

Was told I got upgraded but walked into a normal room. I can't complain though really, rooms are pretty well always clean and all good. Wish pillows were softer but that's a personal preference.

The staff and management are really decent and respectful people even in such a hard time it restores some of my faith in humanity.

The luxury suites here are nice large rooms, flooring has been updated. I found the toilet a little dated and finicky but it worked. The laundry machines in the room were awesome. Unfortunately the special requests I made were not accommodated, I was assigned to a room that was very close to the elevator and the room had some noise issues. Funny thing, there was no noise from people in the hallway exiting the elevator or from a soda/ice machine. The noise all came from the street below (alderbridge) and from the room sharing the wall with the bedroom. The walls between the rooms are quite thin but the floors are thick pour concrete. Beware of this is you are sensitive to sound. On several mornings before 7 am during my long stay I was jolted awake by noise. Almost like a large truck was closing it’s trailer door. It seems the area is semi industrial with horns and sirens going off also. This could be coming from the airport but plane/jet noise was not an issue. Richmond in general has a lack of empathy and consideration. Majority of the people here are more concerned about what they drive over the wellbeing of others. Richmond itself is not very walkable with many sidewalks that randomly end and drivers who are inconsiderate of pedestrians. I felt this lack of empathy from two of the front desk staff also through poor customer service. The customer is not always right at this hotel even for a reasonable request. Again this is more of a general vibe of Richmond but it is everywhere. None of my gripes with this hotel warranted a talk with the front desk manager as I feel this was all worked into the rate. Would I return to this hotel? Yes but the price has to be less than $120/night. I cannot comprehend someone paying $200+ per night for a room here, I would avoid it at that cost. The value are customer service are not in line with that pricing. My checkout was smooth and I found these front desk employees provided a better customer service experience.
