Creekside Villa

The best stay and sleep I've had in a hotel in my life. :-) 10/10 - will be back again and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing stay that's not close to the highway going through town. We spent two nights in the Cougar Creek Suite and it was very cozy. The bed was very comfortable - the pillows were so good I had to check out what company provided them and ended up ordering some for our own home. The shower was excellent as well - all the Rocky Mountain Soap Co products made it hard to want to leave, smelled so good. Little touches made it great - the fresh cookies in the room were delicious, and the staff were super friendly.

It feels like ages ago but my husband and I were able to sneak away from the city in March right before things closed down. It was for his birthday and spur of the moment. I'm so glad we were able to do this before our world changed so significantly that month with COVID restrictions. Creekside Villa is a beautiful boutique hotel. Upon arrival the snow was just beginning to fall so it truly looked like a scene from a romantic Christmas special on the Lifetime channel. Check in was easy and personable. Very friendly staff all around. My husband's eyes lit up at the freshly baked cookies available for the taking. Our room was cozy and the decor is lovely. Beds are comfortable and we slept great. A very peaceful stay for sure. The toiletries are from Rocky Mountain Soap Company, which I am a huge fan of and happily used my fair share (take note that in order to cut down on waste these are not tiny takeaways)! We were able to take part in the continental breakfast as part of our stay. It wasn't bad- fresh baked, local goods and delicious coffee. The restaurant is only open certain times in the year so keep that mind when booking and read the website to avoid disappointment. I do recall being nervous about people serving themselves as the pandemic was just starting to be a thing here in Canada. From what I have read, Creekside Villa staff have remained on top of regulations and adjusting as needed, making it as safe as possible. Overall a wonderful escape to the mountains. I highly recommend at least one stay at Creekside Villa if you can.

We arrived at this beautiful location after dark and were immediately struck by the charm of a quaint inn covered in sparkling lights. Located up in the cougar Creek area of Canmore our room had views of the mountains from both windows. The decor was cozy and everything you would want in a mountain lodge. We arrived after the front desk staff had left for the night but our check-in was seamless and we had no trouble accessing our suite. All in all a great little boutique hotel, we will definitely be back! A great choice to be in the mountains, and a perfect option if you would rather not be in the busy downtown portion of Canmore.

This wonderful venue hosted our wedding two years ago. It was so wonderful to come back! Staff was friendly as always, tastful mountain decor, exceptionally clean and breathtaking views from the huge beautiful room. It feels like home away from home.

The staff was so accommodating and friendly. I was on crutches and they were so quick to help out and ensure I was able to get around, although it’s not really handicapped friendly. We were in Canmore for our wedding and had some bad weather, the staff was fine with us coming back to take photos in their seating area and restaurant. We came back to our room after supper and they had surprised us with a bottle of wine to congratulate us. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it’s so close to nice restaurants and the staff is amazing. Thank you for a great wedding weekend!
