Solara is our favorite place to stay when visiting Canmore. Always clean and comfortable and a great location. The rooms are great with many different layouts which makes it interesting each stay. The rooms are huge with all of the amenities you need. The manager Jen is absolutely amazing! She was so helpful and friendly during our last stay and we can't thank her enough. Thanks Jen and Solara team, we can't wait to stay with you again soon!

We stayed three nights in a two bedroom condo which was very nice. However in the main bedroom there were two mattresses shoved together to make one king bed. Not exactly what I expected at a luxury resort. The mattresses kept parting in the middle leaving a 4 inch crevice. The rest of the unit was lovely and we really enjoyed having the two fireplaces. The check in time of 5 pm is much too late. We have thought of coming out for one night, but with a 5 pm check in and an 11 a.m. checkout it doesn't seem worth it.

We had to switch rooms because the apartment above ours had several very loud children running around in-and-out from the balcony and making a lot of thumping and bumping noises on our ceiling with that annoying "Tonight's gonna be a good night" song blasting. Not the romantic situation we were hoping for. After a couple hours of it I developed a headache. They moved us to a bigger room with a mountain view. Overall that room was much nicer, but the kitchen less equipped and the construction noise on the main road was a bit loud so we couldn't enjoy time on the balcony...but it was still better than the noise from the previous room. Overall a great place to stay if you can get a deal. We happened to get a really great last minute price, I don't know that I'd pay full price for it. I've stayed in several cheaper, but nicer places in Canmore. The staff was really loud while cleaning the rooms in the hallways. The ovens are sort of European style touch controls, and even thought I have a lot of experience with those, I found that model confusing to operate. That said, I'd stay here again as long the neighbours are quiet.

We received an upgrade to a 2 bedroom condo overlooking the mountain as a request for a milestone birthday, The front staff was very professional and helpful and we got to check in early, It was great having heated underground heating as it snowed. The condo itself is beautiful, large and was nice having two fireplaces, Gourmet kitchen with everything you need and very spacious and comfortable. I needed some documents printed and the front desk gladly accommodated me. We will return.
