The Wilshire Inn

Stayed here due to roads being unsafe to travel. Rooms were clean enough, walls are thin so we could hear conversions from the parking lot. Staff was friendly. Rooms and halls could use an update to make for a more comfortable stay. Beds were only doubles, not queens but we were grateful for a warm, clean place to stay the night at the last minute.

I would not recommend this hotel. Had to stay due to a storm, the room was dirty and had mud stains all over the carpet. Could not wait to leave in the morning...worst hotel I've ever stayed at.

Sat out front calling and calling hoping to book a room- the front door was locked and the open sign was on yet nobody came to the door. When a lady finally answered the phone she said there was somebody on site(umm, where??) and that their prices would total $88! That price is way too high for a motel that can’t even bother to answer the phone or keep the door unlocked for customers when they are open... also no hot breakfast like the photo on google says!

Rugs are very dirty, rooms are small, hair in the throw on bed, there is no outdoor pool as advertised. When I find the room dirty I feel very uncomfortable!

The room was freezing cold when I arrived took about 2 hours for the room to warm up. The heater sounds like a jet every time it started which made sleep impossible. The face cloths were stained and very thin. Went to the front for coffee and their promised muffins at eight am to find nothing there and no explanation from front staff if you can even find staff. For $100 plus dollars a night you expect more. Will not stay again and will not recommend.
