Pedder Bay RV Resort & Marina

The staff at Pedder bay is excellent to deal with. I was able to book moorage for my boat from another province seamlessly. they have power and fresh water at all the slips, they only ran out of fuel once when I was there and very close to peaceful fishing grounds. The only complaint I have is the ally way to some of the slips(mine was in a 26ft slip) was very narrow and made it a two person job to put the boat back in the slip, then compounded on top of that some outboards trimmed up were hanging out of the slip into the ally way so it made it very tight.

I called the Marina to inquire about boat rentals and confirm availability. All was good until I showed up and they told me that they don't rent to non-Vancouver Island residents. This would have been great to know when I called in before making the two hour round trip drive. The two employees there seemed to not care at all about the inconvenience.

Lovely marina. The RV park is very clean and very private. We saw a few eagles and there is a store with many interesting souvenirs. Also a coffee bar and goodies to eat.

Stopped in for a quick visit to have a look at the marina and boat launch facility. Looks like a nice starting point to fish that area. Coming back next year with the boat for sure.

We retired and moved to Victoria. The folks at Pedder Bay gave us a place to stay. Absolutely wonderful place and even better people. Thank you all so much for helping make our dream happen.
