If I could give zero stars I would. DON'T buy from Peoples... The only time we were treated well was when we purchased our engagement and wedding rings. Whenever we go into the store to have our rings inspected and cleaned we are treated as a low priority and given the runaround. On Saturday, my husband brought his ring in to be fixed under warranty. He has two crowns on each side of his ring and one of them fell off. They told him our rings are past due to be inspected and warranty will not be covered if we do not bring them in asap. The lady had the audacity to ask my husband, "are you still with your wife?" He asked what she meant and the lady said, "Are you still even married?" What was her point of asking... and how inappropriate to ask these questions... They also said their systems were down so they could not hold or send off his ring to be fixed, according to their policy. We went in today to clear up the bond paperwork and it turns out we didn't need to bring the rings in for inspection/cleaning until February 2021, so what a waste of time with that. When we asked about having the ring fixed under warranty, she said, "nearly everything is covered under warranty except loss". She said the ring could be sent off to the goldsmith and if he can't fix it, it would need to go to Toronto which will take a LONG time". We said okay, let's go with that. Then she says it is not covered and she doesn't know why it is not covered. After saying everything except loss is covered. So I said if everything except loss is covered then this should be covered too. Then she says almost everything is covered. I told her every time we go there, we are treated badly and leave feeling low about ourselves. I asked her to give us a number for customer service to figure out the warranty. She then says their computers are down. So I said, "Well, you may as well give us the ring back if it's just going to sit here until your computers are fixed." She said, "okay, and it could be a day, week, who knows how long"... So she was going to keep the ring even though their systems were down, which is apparently against their policy. We called the customer service number to figure out how we can have the ring fixed without dealing with the Peoples in Chilliwack, and we are now going to travel out of town to have it fixed. Not sure if my rant makes any sense but I do not recommend Peoples Jewellers in Chilliwack :/

Thank you for replacing the Opal Ring for us today even though it was past 60 days. I would highly recommend Peoples Jewellers.

My husband bought me a pair of earrings and was double charged. It took almost amonth to get the money back into our account. When dealing with the store the customer service was horrible and not very polite and forth coming with information. We have dealt with this store for many years and the staff use to be so pleasant.

All the ladies are wonderful, very friendly, polite and helpful. Helped pick the perfect engagement rings within our budget. When pairing an engagement rings with a wedding bands, they know the perfect combos. I just moved to Mission, but still will continue to drive to Chilliwack for their great customer service.

Returned a christmas gift and 10 months later still waiting for my money back. All calls ive made (every 2 weeks) ive been fed a run around. Not once have they call me to update me as to why their return policy is taking so long. Poor customer service
