Commission for Public Complaints Against the RCMP

This non-independent federal commission claims it never received my complaint delivered via Registered Mail. They then ordered Canada Post to deny me access to a copy of the delivery certificate with their staffers signature on it. I wasn't allowed to speak with a manager. They refused to answer my questions in writing, and demanded money in order to fulfill my Privacy Request for information. The commissioner ignored my followup correspondence regarding the allegations being made against his staff. As a result, the RCMP never faced an investigation. Based on my negative experience, I'm unable to recommend.

Class Action lawsuit needed here!! Sue them till they do there job.

Unprofessional pathetic power abusers

Total incompetence in it's reporting to me. I asked for particulars in police file Sept 19th and still have not received a response. I have received two registered letters from the rcmp saying the file was ongoing. This is just so much runaround. They are not straight up and seem to be in hiding. Nothing from the complaints commission.

Completely incompetent and uncaring. After 7 months of trying to work with police in order to avoid filing an official complaint, I stilL, HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK FROM THE OFFICER IN QUESTION, OR ANYONE ELSE FROM THE DEPARTMENT. 7 months of evasion and passing the buck. Totally unprofessional.
