The tide comes in and goes out twice a day, the beachfront is mudflats (no walking here and your dog will go in it once and learn the lesson) but there are real beaches a short walk across the highway. The room closest to the hot tub on the main floor will hear most of what is going on upstairs and in the tub. Fire pit is cool, caretaker was using it one Friday but we generally didn’t use it anyways opting for fires on the beaches with sunsets instead. One guest SUP boarded to the end of the flats and back. Dock is hidden don’t forget to explore the path through the bushes! Rent some bikes $$$ or bring your own, town is about a ten km mostly flat ride. Lots of board games here and a big dining table to play on. The television reflected on by the sun through the day but you shouldn’t be watching tv here. Laundry is modern machines. Kitchen fan was broken so be prepared to open windows, most pots didn’t have lids, well appointed kitchen otherwise. Lots of room to hang out with different chill zones, suggest bringing a Bluetooth speaker and maybe your favourite pillow, though the ones they provide are nice. Rain coats in the front closet!
