Cobble Wood & Bird Sanctuary Guesthouses

A very quiet escape I had. We stayed in the humming bird suite. I think it has the best view of the whole guest house. The windows over looks forest. The suite is on the 2nd floor so it is the quietest in the house. The suite has more than enough rooms for 2 people. Bed is comfy and the kitchenette provides all the basic cooking items you need. The shared BBQ is a nice addition too. Room is clean and have more than enough of what we need. Check-ins and outs are smooth and hassle free. The location of the house is very convenient as well. Sits in between long beach and the town, it is like 10 mins drive to both. The owners answered my questions very patiently not during my stay, but even after I checked out. So if you are looking for a quiet escape, natures and bird chipping, friendly hosts and a worry free stay, this is your place to go.

Great place, great stay. Very clean, maintained, and modern. Nice yard, very well looked after. All the furniture, and appliances are new. There is a bbq outside for guests. Comfy beds. Just a great getaway.

The pictures don't even do this place justice. Nicest place I have ever stayed on holiday. Private, clean, very well maintained. The sound of soft chirping birds off the patio was so peaceful.

Beautifully appointed; quiet; wonderfully comfortable bed; spotlessly clean, with thoughtful touches like a bird feeder (filled daily) outside our room, and the great hot chocolate provided was also gluten-free. Host Ken was attentive but not intrusive & had great advice on gluten-free eating/bakery options. Best value for miles. Stayed 3 days; couldn't recommend more highly.
