Ramada by Wyndham Cold Lake

Excellent customer service! The room was very presentable and I enjoyed my stay here. I'm from Vancouver so having a view of the city was nice treat for me. I'd definitely would be staying here if I ever came back. $80/night in June of 2020. Amazing deal!

The service was great. The room was very nice but wish there were more channel's that would actually work on the tv or have a movie option where you can rent a movie. The boot closet, I'm not sure who built it but it was very poorly designed and built both doors were not evenly cut the doors don't close at all which looked terrible for such a nice room. Overall it was pretty good.

Thie Winham Ramada is highly over rated for what you oay for. Rooms are not very clean. Room cleaning service does not provide consistant servis. The kitchenette has a sink that a full sized plate will not fit into. The utensils are the cheapest they can find. There were hardly any pot or pans. Not worth what is cgarged.

The front desk man was great and very friendly. The room was fantastic and the bed was excellent. The morning breakfast bag was great. Thanks for the wonderful experience. We stayed in room 217. Rick Stasiuk, Wetaskiwin Alberta T9A 3R2

Once we arrived we were greeted by the front desk lady and that was were it all ended down hill after that. We were the only ones that were checking in and our total process was 33 minutes to get our room. This was due to the staff member having issues with doing my credit card she said it wasn’t working as I had just used it I knew this couldn’t be true. She ran it again and again said there was an issue. In front of her while giving her another credit card I phoned the credit company who said she was entering the information wrong and the card was good to go. She then later said she said she was new and only two weeks on the job. During this time the person with me needed the washroom and the lobby bathroom was out of order and barricaded with tables, this made the check in process seamingly longer Once we finally got our room we couldn’t get in as the keys didn’t work. So back to the front desk this time only one key works. So we enter the room and issues become seen quickly the closet door does not open or close with out force the lock on the door is broken there are cracked tiles in the bathroom. Obvious poor cover ups on the wall. So I asked the front desk lady for a paper to document the damages so that we wouldn’t be blamed for any of it after some back and forth I get handed a paper that is blank, a blank pice of paper to document said damages. So we ask the front desk lady for a different room. She said this is the only room available. That’s when the maintenance man said to give us a different room, and then there was one more room they had when again we were told there was not one. After getting to the second room once again issues were noted. These issues were the air conditioning was dirty there was grim in it even some dead bugs in and under it. The smoke detector was not even there there was a door handle on the ground our tv has purple streaks and flickers even the ceiling has marks on it. There is a sign that says you can ask them for small toiletries if you forgot so we asked for a razor and they didn’t have one. Overall in the hotel I find this place dim and dirty I couldn’t recommend this place staying here even for free. Currently their breakfast includes a muffin that is dry granola bar juice box and a water.
