We stayed in Al's hideout, which was clean, tidy, and very well-equipped for a family's needs during a short stay. The suite is in the basement with no views, but it did not matter to us. We had a chance to have a brief chat with Faith, the owner, and it was a pleasure talking to her. We will for sure not be staying anywhere else on our next visit to Yellowknife, and would recommend Embleton House to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, friendly place to stay during a visit to Yellowknife.

Had an amazing stay with Faith. She is the sweetest! The b&b is so well managed and you know a lot of Love was put into maintaining this place. Her rooms are all uniquely decorated with different themes. She made us feel like home when staying here. Price is very reasonable and the location is very convenient. Only a few minutes to downtown. Also you can make your own meals if you want and she will have breakfast ready in your fridge. If you need any tour recommendations she will gladly tell you. Highly recommend!! I will be staying here again when I come back to Yellowknife.

This B&B is as close as one can get to a home away from home. I found it to be a quiet, lovely place to stay. Faith's decorating is beautiful, with a different theme in each room, and she even did all of the embroidery on the towels herself! There is nothing they overlooked in the presentation of the house. I loved having a place with a very well equipped kitchen for so much less money than a hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

This is the best place to stay in YK: super friendly, super clean and very well kept, and excellent location. I've been staying there each time I go through YK since the early 2000's (may-be even 98...) and have always be more than satisfied. Faith and Ken are great people and real northerners: bornt there, lived there and raised their whole family there. Not only do they have great insights about YK's life and evolution, as well as the NWT, but they have a special attention to people, warm and understanding.
