Evolution Whistler

Evolution hotel is a beautiful place to stay during your time in Whistler. It’s close to gondolas on magnificent Whistler Mountain, and comes with many luxurious services. Some include a media room, games room, pool, hot tub, and ski storage. Suites are also clean and nicely decorated, and the bathrooms have a lavish, modern design. The soap provided is also very nice. I recommend this place 100%!

The hotel room is very nice, modern looking. It has a fireplace, and the most important is the heated floor in the bathroom! Negative side sis customer service. There’s no reception in the lobby, you have to go to a different hotel for check in. Also, it was impossible to do a late check out during low season. Another negative side is paid parking. For $300 per night parking should be free in my opinion. Keep in mind that the hotel is not located in the village, you have to drive there.

The hotel room is nice, has a kitchen and a nice fireplace - that's about all that is good. The reception/check-in desk is at another hotel - lame! Parking is $17 bucks a day for paying customers - lame! Hotel is a bit far from the village compared to the other options, but does have a Tim Hortons as a breakfast option right beside it.

This place was perfectly situated for our magic mushroom trip haha. Great hotel too!

The A/C unit in our room was not working. Initially we were told there was no other room left and they won't be able to fix the unit until the next day. Later a portable A/C was provided but I had to set it up myself. Had to call a few times and was finally told another room was available...it was midnight already. Invoice of the stay was not even sent but rather they emailed me two invoices of the parking cost. A bit disappointed as we stayed in this hotel the last 2 times we were in Whistler.
