I booked 3 nights with their hotel Cascade Lodge because they have swimming pool available. I have my son that is 2 years and half old and he loves pool. This is was the main reason for booking this place. Now it’s the surprise. Just 2 days before my check in they sent an email saying that the pool was closed. I tried to cancel it because there is no point for me go to a place without the pool and they ignored all my emails/calls from me and booking.com! I told them cancel right away when I saw their email with the message saying the pool closed (48 hours before). They should cancel my booking and resell it for others guest for double the price because the long weekend but they preferes to give me a hard time and charged me for the 3 nights. This is false advertisement. I don’t recommend this place. ELEVATE VACATIONS WHISTLER BC was their partner in charge for this. Already talked to my credit card, I will dispute this charge and they told me that I will win easily. Also I am contacting my lawyer to sue this place.

Terrible stay. They rent out suites that share balconies with random families..during a pandemic. Health inspectors need to take a serious look at the rental practices they are using. Ruined our trip because we had to move halfway through our stay. Just terrible. Terrible customer service aswell. No rectifying situation and were actually told we either had to stay in that room or leave. Once again I urge anyone staying here to do there research and ask if they get their own suite or if they are going to be shacking up with a random during Covid19.

This is a list of items from our experience at this hotel: 1) Portable Air Conditioner in the room was a very cheap alternative for AC in the hotel room. Unit was very loud and disturbing. 2) On our first night, we came back to our room from dinner to find that all our towels were used to soak up a leak next to the laundry machines. We found a note simply saying that there was a leak by the maintenance employee Jason. Nothing else was indicated on the note. We attempted to call the front desk 3 times within the hour with no success. We then called the main line regarding the leaking pipe, and also to inquire about getting new towels. The woman on the line indicated that a fire alarm had sounded (while we were out at dinner) due to a pipe burst from the floor above. This was all the information that was provided at the time. 3) Shortly after the phone call took place, 3 men arrived at our hotel room and entered to inspect the leak. I indicated that all our towels were being used, and that we would like replacements. I had asked if we needed to change rooms, and the men said that was not necessary. 4) We left for another walk at 9:00pm because the fire alarm had sounded again, and the event was highly stressful for us. 5) Upon our return, we visited the front desk to ask for towels again, and to ask to switch rooms. The front staff said there was no availability, except for a room in their other location. At this point it was 10:00pm and we did not want to relocate to another hotel, we just wanted to switch rooms...which we couldn't; so we stayed the night as we had traveled that day and were very tired. 6) At 10:30pm, a maintenance worker came to our hotel room to look at the leaking pipe once more. He labeled the areas of concern, and then brought in an industrial fan to help reduce mold and increase air flow. He told us to keep it on for the duration of the weekend. The fan was placed in front of the toilet, and blocking the entry to the shower; it was also incredibly loud, so we closed the door for the night. 7) We did not get any sleep for both nights of our stay as there was the loud portable air conditioner, the industrial fan, and the two industrial fans outside our hotel room in the hallway. 8) The hotel room was not clean. There were dried fluids on the walls, also when we turned on the shower a clump of hair came up from the bathtub drain. 9) On the last night we had to unplug the microwave because there were loud electrical noises coming from it. 10) We also found a dead, mummified cockroach next to the portable air conditioning machine. The hotel did apologize for the disturbances of the water/pipe leak. However, even if the events of that weekend didn't take place, we would still not advise anyone to book at this location.

I would not recommend this place. My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night and both had bedbugs bites all over our body.
