Ironwood by Whiski Jack

Great place for a weekend getaway to Whistler. It's 5 mins (by car) to Whistler village center. The rooms were clean, with good amenities. The views from the pool area were great! I'd definitely recommend.

Large, spacious suites with fantastic view of both mountains! Unfortunately, no policing of guests on site, so noise and physical distancing goes unabated.

Quality seems to have gone downhill since my stay last year. The dishwasher required multiple runs to clean even the most basic of dishes or stains, making hand washing the preferred route. The bathroom fan sounded like a jet engine. We found toenail clippings on the carpet and other stuff that should've been picked up by a vacuum. The fireplace gives off far too much heat while it's supposed to be turned off and just the pilot light is lit, so the place was constantly too warm. Thankfully, there were A/C units in each room that helped to mitigate this. Overall, the beautiful views don't make up for the slew of deficiencies in the suite. Management clearly needs to up their game with the maintenance and cleaning. Edit: Management now appears to be attempting to pass the blame by suggesting I stayed elsewhere. Apparently, the idea of another person's name being on the reservation never occurred to these geniuses.

Spacious rooms but dated with a nice view of the mountains from the pool. We paid full price only to discover that there is no staff or house keeping services. If you're going to stay here, shop around on Airbnb or VRBO.

We love this place. Whiskey Jack offers variety of resorts in whistler, and this one by far is our favourite. The units quite vary in finishes as they are all privately owned. The 3rd floor host the vaulted ceiling units with the odd numbers overlooking the creek side and the even numbers facing the road. The outdoor pool could be quite chilly specially in cold season, however the hot tub is roomy and perfect for a few night stay. The units are equipped with all you need including washer-dryer , dishes and shower supply. The pricing compares to a hotel room which might be too tight with families of 4 or more.
