Inn of Acadia

My wife and I celebrated our one year anniversary with dinner and overnight stay at Inn of Acadia. Great food, attentive service, and very clean, beautiful rooms! We live only an hour away but we'll be looking for another reason to come back.

The Inn of Acadia is a little gem tucked away in Madawaska! During the COVID-19 pandemic we visited some places in our home state of Maine that we had never been to. The inn is located in a perfect spot in which to take day trips from and a comfortable, quiet place to return after a bit of touring. Peggy, at the front desk, was a delight to chat with and had many suggestions for things to do when we return to the area once the restrictions are lifted from the pandemic. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed while we were there but we found Dolly’s Restaurant for a great breakfast and also enjoyed the gift cards that the Inn owner provided to Tim Horton’s for coffee as an there was no on site dining. Very thoughtful and much appreciated! We’ll look forward to a return trip!

The room was great, very comfortable, and the service was good too. Once you factor in the cost it’s definitely worth staying when in Northern Maine.

This place is AWESOME!! We've stayed there on 2 different occasions while snowmobiling around Maine. They are extremely accommodating, friendly and the whole experience was just excellent...as well as the food!! We will be back!!
