Best Western Maple Ridge Hotel

The place is nice clean and has a pool but there's some shady people walking around the parking lot at night which made me abit nervous

Good place to stay. Comfortable and friendly staff. They have the best free breakfast if they would open up the restaurant again. They would just need to implement rules but could work. Good prices too

First of all the window was open when we got our room and there is no way to lock it, there was a wood stopper bar that was too short. Second of all the room looks like it’s barely been cleaned! One pillow case had a spot of blood on it. The bath mat in the tub is coming unglued and had hair under it. The curtains are completely splattered and stained. Behind the bedside table is splatter down the wall. The tables do not look like they’ve been wiped. The phone does not work! The jets on the hot tub at the pool do not work! Nothing has been cleaned to covid standards! If I get covid i will be suing.

We are checking out as I'm writing this, from a 25 day stay here for work. As a crew there was 12 of us, and the staff here have been absolutely fantastic. The pool is open by bookings, gym was available in the same manner, and the other facilities were available by special request. Maple ridge has seen an influx of less than savory characters and the staff were on point with dealing with them. With COVID precautions the kitchen was closed for breakfast but there was still a to go style bag made available. Overall the staff are what made our stay memorable. Simran deserves a promotion, she is super friendly!
