They provide good service and explained to me everything in detail that needed to be done while also not charging erroneous amounts of money like bit brand name shops. As a student, I can't afford much to fix my car and they helped me fix it in multiple rounds to make it a little more financially feasible. Even when they tried to fix my A/C and it stopped working a few months later, they didn't charge me to check the A/C again (as it turns out it was leaking and should have been checked for leaks a week after it was fixed as opposed to when it stopped working again). They're two nice guys who own a small business and it's nice to support where I can, especially during the trying months of Covid-19.

Our family has been going to Kumar for the last 20 year's, always get excellent service. Our family has since relocated to Burnaby we still make the trek to Poco to have our vechicles serviced. I would highly recommend using Kumar for any kind of vechicle.

My family has been bringing our vehicles to Kumar Auto since 2000 - Ford Windstar (x2) F150, Isuzu Trooper, BMW 328, Acura MDX (2005), Acura MDX (2012) and we have referred to Kumar as well - We still continue to bring our MDX to Kumar Auto - We were recently provided with a quote from Kal Tire to replace our Struts etc... the estimate was $2100.00 - I sent the quote to Kumar and he said he would complete the job at 20% less than their quote - Herman and Ajit ordered the parts and we dropped off the vehicle for the 24hr job - to our delight we were informed the next day that it was only the sway bars that required replacing - the total bill = $338.00! Thats the honesty that has brought my family to Kumar Auto for the last 20 years - Honest, quality work every time - Thanks Ajit and Herman at Kumar Auto!

I have never been so disrespected before that I have felt prompted to write a review, but Kumar is not someone I can recommend doing business with. His service technician is an honest young man that does great work, I believe your vehicle is in good hands with him and I don't believe there to be any issue with the quality of standard repairs. Unfortunately, on two separate occasions I have been disappointed by Kumar's professionalism. My first experience with Kumar was with a fleet vehicle for work, being price conscious I compared prices for parts online and asked what Kumar would be able to do. I told him the price I was able to get the parts for including the shipping. I was very detailed and provided all the specific part numbers, prices etc so that there would be no miscommunication. He then offered to order those specific parts in on his own and install them, I said "If that allows you to make a bit of money on the parts and I'm still getting a price match then lets do it" -A Win Win. After the work was done I was billed for full price on parts. Shocked by this I calmly explained this was not what was agreed upon and the technician called Kumar. Kumar and I came to an agreement and split the difference, I wanted to be reasonable and move things forward knowing that people make mistakes and we had a potential for a good relationship and future business. Having had the first experience with Kumar on the second vehicle service I was a little apprehensive. I again offered to order the parts in and explained the prices which I was able to get them for. Like most of us I wanted to save money where I could ( putting in the work to research order the parts myself), but spend money where it was important to (labor and quality work). Keep in mind this is during the restart of the economy post COVID-19 lockdown, being in a small business myself and knowing how import it is to support small bushiness I wanted to spread our fleet maintenance jobs to those I thought might appreciate the work. I received 3 different quotes from various companies for the front brake work on the vehicle needing repair. Kumar was the most expensive, but only slightly. What was concerning is he said his price was after applying a "20% discount on parts and labor", be wary thinking you are getting a discount here. After receiving his quote, I let him know I wanted to order the parts myself and have him install them (learning from my past experience). His labor for the brake job was about $140, $20 more expensive than my other mechanic who does work for me, but hey... I wanted to support Kumar. Later that evening Kumar messages me "pulling the plug" stating he spoke with his business partner and they wont do the work on the vehicle if I purchase the parts myself, by this time I had already ordered the parts! I messaged him back, and this is a direct quote "I must say, this is twice now where I feel like you've given terrible service Kumar, I won't be recommending or giving you any more business personally. Your prices with a 20% discount are still higher than most other quotes!... Your employee is a hard worker, take good care of him. Good Luck" end quote. He replied "GET A LIFE KID". I'm a very reasonable and understanding person, but I cannot believe how dishonest and unprofessional Kumar is.

Known Kumar for a few years. He's honest and doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Would recommend to others.
