Horie Sun Lodge

If I was going to choose one word to describe this place it would be "quirky". It wasn't what I was expecting but I loved my stay. Cute corner room with a fireplace next to the ski storage room. Ski in-and-out to my door. Clean room, big comfy bed, cozy reading corner! I had a long day coaching and was 5 minutes into a cup of tea when the owners brought be down some snacks! It was so very appreciated. The owners are adorable, yes their english isn't great, but that doesn't hinder their service at all. Their is also a super cute kitty to great you at the door. I like weird and different places so place has completely tickled my fancy!

It is run by a Japanese. It was a genuine hospitality. Sun Peaks had as many as four or five mountains and the ski trails were fulfilling. The village also has a hospital, so you can rest assured of long-term stays.
