Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre

We had stayed there for 5 days in a 1 bedroom suite. Bedroom was spectacular, almost as big as ours was at home and we were able to fit a crib in there very comfortably. The ceilings were high and and living was also a comfortable size for family of 3. We had a lovely stayed there and service was excellent at the start of the check in process to when we checked out. One thing that made this an exceptional hotel for us was because I had lost my wedding ring the night before we checked out. Obviously I checked frantically and talked to front desk about it. They went above and beyond to help find it, fulfilling every single request I made including checking the drain of the bath. However with our efforts, showed no success in finding it. After we left, I was still in touch with management (Leslie) and she instructed her staff to continue looking for the ring and was very accommodating in every aspect. With a fairy tale ending, fortunately I found my ring and it was with me entire time! I can't speak enough about entire staff at this hotel. I think in general, all the locals were so genuinely friendly and kind every where we went. Because of this experience, we now intend to visit this place on annual basis and will be staying at our favourite hotel. By the way, it's the only hotel with a pool outside so it's huge bonus! Highly recommend!

As an ex employee of over 2 years I can give you 100% truth. Rooms are great. The beds are extremely comfortable. Park in the free lot 2 mins away and save $20 a night .. up to you . Staff are very helpful ... restaurant food is pretty good / average but will hit the spot. Pools and hot tub are fantastic. 10/10 would never work here given a re- do lol

Wow! We loved this hotel. We were so sad we had such a short stay as it was just overnight stop over but enjoyed it very much. First impressions of the lobby was breathtaking and the rest did not disappoint. Customer service was fantastic! The rooms were absolutely beautiful. Very clean and spacious. We are already planning a longer vacation there in the future!

My wife and my 18 month old daughter stayed two days at this resort after the first day I try to do my laundry. Not only did the laundry machine ruin our clothes but the Dryer did not dry them at all. I addressed this with the front desk and I was told that the laundry facilities are “use our own risk” I asked the front desk to show me where it says in the contract for the laundry facilities are use At own risk. They were not able to provide me that information because it does not exist I was also told that I should not allow laundry to ruin my day. Travelling with a toddler requires at times to do a quick load of laundry. Not only did the staff totally disregard the fact that I informed them about their laundry facilities being out of order they did not put up any signs for future clients letting them know that their laundry facilities are broken up the time. Laundry seems like a small issue but it has ruined our day because we cannot go for a hike or enjoy any of the other facilities because it took us a whole day to figure out how we are going to dress our daughter in fresh clothes. I ended up doing the laundry in the washroom. I totally understand that facilities at times can be out of order but the lack of understanding by the staff and them being straight up rude forces me to give them a one star review and I really don’t see ourselves returning to this resort. Also the air-conditioning in our room was not working. We also addressed this with the front desk and apparently there was someone to come check it but for the period of 48 hours that we stayed the HVAC was not working. Rooms are clean , but staff is straight up rude.

I cannot say enough about my recent stay at Sun Peaks Grand Hotel and Conference Center. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our health and safety without compromising on service. We felt cared for and pampered by the warm and welcoming staff. The accommodations were wonderful and I would highly recommend a room with a balcony to take your experience to the next level. The opportunity to sip on a cup of tea while nestled in the fresh mountain air is medicine for the soul. Every moment of our trip was amazing right down to having adequate parking to fit our truck. If you are looking for a place to escape, recharge and enjoy some delicious food, shopping and amazing breath-taking outdoor activities I would highly recommend booking your stay at Sun Peaks Grand Hotel and Conference Centre you won’t be disappointed. We cannot wait to visit again.
