Hearthstone Lodge Hotel

Very disappointed. Firstly they don't have a 24 hour cancellation policy so in case of an emergency which was in my case they did not allow a refund at all even though I called within a few hours of booking to cancel. Secondly they have no water bottles in the room for the guests. The pillows to sleep on were so small even on the adult beds. So uncomfortable to sleep. I was there with my family and everyone had a problem with their services.

The toilet in our room (#309)was clogged when checked in our room. We called the front desk and the receptionist tolled us to use the plunger that underneath of the toilet to open it. We tried and didn’t work. We called again and the receptionist came up to our room herself, and spend 15 minutes and to tried to unplug but it would still not drain completely. She said she is only person in the building and she couldn’t do anything for us. She mentioned this is a old building and they have issues with plumbing. We asked for a different room, She said she could move us to another room but with a smaller bed, and it would take one our to clean it. They are under staff and it seems that they do not maintain their rooms. I also find out each room are owned by different owners. Obviously, the owner of room 309 do not maintain their unit.

Great little place in the heart of the village with informative front desk staff and affordable rates. Room could adjoin to other rooms for more space, studio was sufficiently sized for a family of four including a small kitchenette. Lots of storage options and bathroom counter space. Doesn't have A/C, exhaust and bathroom fans were sufficient to circulate air when window was cracked. Pizza place downstairs makes lobby smell like pizza - great advertising for hungry guests.

A BEAUTIFUL TIME at SUN PEAKS Resort with its Summer or Winter destination with many activities! The Hearthstone Lodge is right in the middle of it all with some units that sleep up to 7 people. Some rooms include kitchenettes with a full size fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. There are 2 hot tubs, a ski or bike lockup, an exercise room, a laundromat, a TV/Games room and Conference Centre. Very friendly staff and great restaurants in the building.

Very friendly service. Rooms need a good Spring cleaning... lights and rugs. Very great location..
