Can we get some noise enforcement on our roads. There are muffler laws and noise laws. Why are we letting people not following our laws dictate our quality of life.

The RCMP service is excellent overall. It's too bad there are not more RCMP policing in the town. The reason for 3 stars is due to the reception people at their main entrance kiosk windows. They are extremely short and harsh with people who are coming in for help and guidance. It appears that they are not subject to any form of accountability in their interactions with the public.

Overall good value to the Okotoks taxpayer.

I admire and respect law enforcement. They have always been there for us and do nothing but serve. They have the resilience to deal with the worst humanity has to offer and remain human beings with compassion.

I have always respected police officers for putting themselves in harm's way to keep us safe. My respect has only grown as a result of my experiences with the dedicated professionals of the Okotoks RCMP. I had two encounters with them over the last 10 months or so (the only 2 times I have been detained by police). Both times, I was extremely drunk, and they had to "accommodate" me overnight for the safety of myself and others. Both times, I was extremely belligerent and disrespectful, though not aggressive or threatening. Both times they dealt with me professionally and with great RESPECT and RESTRAINT under my drunken provocations. Thank you, officers, for your service and protection (even protecting me and others from myself). I have nothing but respect, admiration and appreciation for the officers of the Okotoks RCMP.
